AUSTIN, TX (November 2, 2016) - Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces, the Austin, TX-based manufacturer and distributor of engineered surfaces, today announced an agreement to acquire Bushboard, the U.K.-based manufacturer and distributor of worktops and wall systems.
"Bushboard is a terrific company that brings new, innovative products to market,” said Tim O’Brien, Wilsonart CEO. “It will be a great addition to our European operations, which already includes leading engineered surfaces brands like Polyrey and Resopal.”
The Bushboard business will report into Tim Pearson, Wilsonart President, Western Europe. "Bushboard is an ideal complement to the Wilsonart Europe businesses, dovetailing well with our existing worktop operation in the U.K. and beyond,” said Pearson. “Bushboard brings new technology, new products and new routes to market for Wilsonart throughout Europe. We look forward to the growth opportunities that these new capabilities present.”
